Animal Kingdom Cast Members Sign Steel Beam for Encanto Attraction

Cast Members who work at Disney’s Animal Kingdom were recently given the opportunity to sign a steel beam that will be used for the construction of an Encanto-themed ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This continues the tradition of allowing Cast Members to leave their mark on Walt Disney World’s growing theme parks. Here’s a look!

During an exclusive beam-signing event, cast had the opportunity to sign a steel beam that will be installed in the future Encanto attraction in Tropical Americas — leaving a lasting mark on a land set to open in 2027

We recently made it out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to find that interior construction had begun on the Encanto-themed ride.

As a quick refresher, an all-new Encanto attraction is being built in the former DinoLand USA section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The new attraction will follow Antonio the day after he received his magical gift – the ability to communicate with animals. As we explore alongside Antonio, we never know which member of the Madrigal family we might bump into!
