Good morning from EPCOT, where there are long lines for the reopening of the Frozen Ever After attraction, and no lines at the Living with the Land attraction. Living with the Land is closed unexpectedly, and crews have drained the attraction as they work on something in the load station. Here’s a closer look.

Living with the Land Drained at EPCOT
Living with the Land is a slow-moving boat ride that takes you through man’s interaction with nature, including a greenhouse portion where you can see agricultural techniques at work. While visiting EPCOT this morning, we stopped into The Land Pavilion, only to find that the Living with the Land attraction was unexpectedly closed.
The attraction is typically reliable, but it has faced some extensive closures due to technical difficulties at the end of January, according to wait time tracking website thrill-data. Now, the attraction is drained as crews work on the load station. While it was difficult for us to see exactly what they were working on, it looks like the work was focused near the dispatch area of the attraction. This would be where the conveyor belt ends and some high-capacity water pumps begin.
Here are a few photos of the work taking place. It looks like there is a ceiling-mounted hoist chain at play here, too, so whatever the work is, it appears to deal with some heavy equipment.
It’s unclear when the ride will reopen, but crews are hard at work to get it functional again. Cast Members are advising guests to check the My Disney Experience app for the latest attraction status.
