Walt Disney World has taken to social media to tease that an announcement will be made soon about the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction update set for next month. While we know that a Mandalorian & Grogu update will debut on May 22nd, we’re not sure what else Walt Disney World could be announcing tomorrow. It’s possible that they’ll have a first look at the attraction update. Here’s the latest.

Disney World Teases Smugglers Run Announcement

As seen in the screenshot below, Disney World is teasing a 3pm announcement for tomorrow, April 23rd, for what appears to be the Mandalorian & Grogu update for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The text says “New Mission. New Stories. This is the way”, with a countdown that is set to expire on April 23rd at 3pm.

As for what we know so far, the update will include new locations and an all-new storyline that will include the Mandalorian and Grogu. In the new update, guests will control the iconic ship like never before. For the first time ever, the crew will be in control of their own destination, leading to potential adventures on Bespin, the wreckage of the second Death Star around Endor, or the just-announced bustling city-planet, Coruscant.

Another new gameplay addition allows the engineer positions to communicate with Grogu during the mission.

With new locations comes an all-new storyline for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! Disney has announced that guests will follow a different story arc than the Mandalorian & Grogu film, but still interact with the duo. The new story arc will see Hondo Ohnaka learning about a deal taking place on Tatooine between ex-Imperial Officers and pirates. Not one to miss out on a deal (or credits), Hondo will enlist your help as guests team up with Mando & Grogu to claim the bounty.
