Good afternoon from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where scrims have been removed, and scaffolding is coming down in front of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets attraction. The removal of the construction equipment has revealed the Muppet-ified, psychedelic guitar at the entrance to the attraction. Here’s a closer look at the ork that appears to be roughly 95% complete.

While the photos will largely speak for themselves, we wanted to note that we took the photos in different lighting conditions as clouds made their way across the sky. We’ve tried to color correct where possible to represent an accurate look at the paint job.
Additionally, you’ll notice that the color scheme has deviated from the concept art. That said, the work isn’t 100% complete yet. That said, I wouldn’t expect much difference in the final product versus what we’ve seen today, save for the work yet to be completed at the very top of the guitar and back of the building. I believe that those areas were largely out of reach for the crews from the scaffolding and will be finished once a high-reach crane can access the area.
Starting May 26, the legendary ride roars back to life with a rock-charged remix that drops guests straight into the middle of The Electric Mayhem’s biggest night yet. With high-speed thrills, a pulse pounding soundtrack, and a VIP list like no other, this reimagined attraction hits all the right notes.
The Electric Mayhem are headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever! Anyone who’s anyone is in attendance to witness Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of this groove-tastic group rock the house down. There’s just one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found!Â
Across town at G-Force Records, we’re treated to a VIP tour of the legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things might look a little different around this Hollywood institution, as the label has recently come under new management – The Muppets!  We’re happy to say that our colorful crew has landed some new digs… with just a little help from Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse (he really puts the G in G-Force). Just wait until you see how they’ve made these hallowed halls their own, creating the perfect place to make sweet, sweet Muppet music together!Â
With your VIP passes, you’ll be welcomed inside the recording studio, where – wouldn’t you know it – you’ll find The Electric Mayhem cranking out the familiar tunes of Can You Picture That? as they rehearse for their big concert. You’ll be immersed in the story with the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter, who’s joined by the finest audio engineers (all penguins, of course). They’re doing their best to convince The Electric Mayhem to stop jamming and get to their increasingly restless fans, but will it be enough to get the band across town and on stage in time?
Thanks to the newest technological advancements from Muppets Labs, we’ll board a super-powered vehicle in the alleyway just behind Studio C known as the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.)!
