The Electric Mayhem is trading its tour posters for tinsel. Starting this week, Disney PhotoPass is swapping in holiday on-ride photos at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. That means every launch not only comes with new tunes, but also a festive keepsake. Disney shared a first look at three new designs, and all of them lean into the band’s holiday gig.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is heading into its first holiday season at Hollywood Studios. Even the on-ride photo is getting dressed up for it. The festive photos are available from November 4th through January 6th, and guests who ride during that window will receive the holiday versions.

That start date comes more than a week before the official Walt Disney World holiday season kicks off on November 13th. It even beats the first night of Disney Jollywood Nights on November 7th. The January 6th end date lines up with the final day of the resort’s holiday season. When the Muppets took over the coaster in May, PhotoPass debuted three on-ride photo designs styled as a backstage pass, a concert poster, and a playbill. These holiday frames take the place of those designs for the season.

A Closer Look at the Merry Mayhem Designs

The first design is a tall red card topped with “Merry Mayhem” in bright green block letters. A striped ornament and a snowflake hang in the upper corner, and “Disney’s Hollywood Studios 2026” climbs the left edge. Below the photo, Animal and Kermit the Frog both sport Santa hats. They flank a center panel reading “G-Force Records Presents The Electric Mayhem,” with the tagline “One Night to Rock the Halls” across the bottom in matching green.

The second design is the most elaborate of the bunch. Here, the photo hangs in a rainbow-striped frame on a glowing Christmas tree, surrounded by ornaments. A license plate ornament reads “MUPP3T5” with “DHS” and “Let’s Roll” printed above it. Nearby, a vinyl record ornament has a “Rockin’ Christmas” label for The Electric Mayhem. An orange G-Force Records bulb hangs in the lower left, and across the tree, a yellow road sign ornament dangles over a green street sign that reads “Obligatory Easter Egg.” The character on the sign is Waldo C. Graphic from the former MuppetVision 3D attraction. That’s a fitting wink for a ride that Imagineering packed with dozens of hidden Easter eggs. This one is our favorite.

The third flips to a wide layout, with the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets logo in the upper right. Underneath, six line-drawn band portraits fill a grid of red, white, and green tiles, with Animal grinning from the center. A giant “2026” stretches along the bottom next to the same “One Night to Rock the Halls” tagline. It feels like a holiday remix of the summer concert poster design, which also put the band in a portrait grid.

Holiday Songs Come With the Holiday Photos

The photos aren’t the only thing changing on November 4th. During the overlay, The Electric Mayhem is rehearsing a holiday show inside G-Force Records when several Muppet friends drop in and cause chaos. Scooter and his penguin audio engineers still need to get the band across town on time, and that’s where the L.I.M.O. comes in. Disney calls the overlay a “festive celebration filled with seasonal tunes and new surprises.”

That story explains the “One Night to Rock the Halls” tagline and the “Rockin’ Christmas” record ornament in the new photos. Here’s the full four-song holiday setlist:

  • “Holiday Road” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear
  • “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Jennifer Hudson
  • “Silver Bells” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Cyndi Lauper
  • “Little Saint Nick” by The Electric Mayhem
