BREAKING: Universal Orlando Discontinues Express Pass Add-on To Frequent Fear Passes

Universal Orlando Resort has discontinued Fear with Express Pass, the add-on that let Frequent Fear and Rush of Fear passholders attach Express Pass access to their seasonal Halloween Horror Nights pass. Guests who purchase a Frequent Fear pass will no longer have the option to add Express Pass at checkout. Here’s the latest

Express Pass Discontinued for Halloween Horror Nights Frequent Fear Passes

Here’s the full statement Universal shared: “As we continue to evaluate our offerings in an effort to provide the best Halloween Horror Nights experience for all Guests, we have discontinued all Fear with Express Pass products. Other Fear pass options will go on sale soon.”

Frequent Fear passes are seasonal passes that let guests visit Halloween Horror Nights multiple times across the event’s run. Tiers have included Rush of Fear, Frequent Fear, Frequent Fear Plus, and Ultimate Frequent Fear. Universal has traditionally allowed guests to add Express Pass to those pass types for a high additional cost. That add-on let pass holders skip the regular queue at the haunted houses once per night. With Fear with Express Pass discontinued, that option is now gone.

Express Pass itself remains available. Guests can still purchase it as a nightly add-on alongside single-night Halloween Horror Nights tickets. That version grants one-time front-of-line access at all haunted houses and participating attractions each night. It’s the pairing of Express Pass with a Frequent Fear pass specifically that Universal has cut.
