That’s a full 30 minutes earlier than the 9:30pm close the festival typically enjoys. Luminous: The Symphony of Us moves up to 9:15pm from 9:30pm, which puts the fireworks show after park close. Candlelight Processional showtimes shift 15 minutes earlier to match. Here’s the latest.

EPCOT normally runs a 9am to 9pm operating schedule, but during the Festival of the Holidays, the park typically stays open as late as 9:30pm. This year, the festival, which runs November 27th through December 30th, keeps the standard 9pm close.
We believe the extra half hour existed for the Candlelight Processional. The show usually ends close to 9pm, and guests and singers need to exit the America Gardens Theatre before fireworks begin. Moving park close and fireworks to 9:30pm gave the theater time to empty out. This year’s schedule removes that extra half hour, a significant change for the festival itself even though 9pm is a normal EPCOT closing time.
Luminous Starts After EPCOT Closes During Festival of the Holidays
Luminous now begins 15 minutes after park close. Rides and shops will close at 9pm, but guests can stay in the park to watch the fireworks show. Anyone planning a last ride or a final shop stop has to finish before 9pm. That leaves 15 minutes to find a spot along World Showcase Lagoon before the show.
Candlelight Processional Showtimes Move Earlier
Candlelight Processional shifts to earlier times to fit the earlier park close and earlier Luminous showing. The three nightly performances at America Gardens Theatre each start 15 minutes sooner than in 2025.
- 2026: 4:45pm, 6:30pm, and 8:00pm
- 2025: 5:00pm, 6:45pm, and 8:15pm
Disney confirmed those 2026 showtimes alongside the celebrity narrator schedule. The final performance now starts at 8:00pm, so it should also finish about 15 minutes earlier than in 2025, ahead of the 9:15pm fireworks. Candlelight Processional Dining Packages open for booking on October 14th.
