Slinky Dog Dash is not dashing again this morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The marquee attraction did not open at all on August 31st, and it remains closed as of 10am on September 1st, marking a second consecutive day without service. Disney has not given a reason for the downtime. We will update this article as more information becomes available.

Slinky Dog Dash Closed Since August 31st
Slinky Dog Dash did not operate at any point on August 31st. That’s an unusual stretch of downtime for one of Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ most popular attractions. The coaster typically ranks among the busiest draws in Toy Story Land and the entire park.
As of 10am on September 1st, the attraction remains closed. Disney has not commented on the cause, and we have not received a push notification on the My Disney Experience app, despite being in the park this morning.
If you’re headed to Disney’s Hollywood Studios soon, check the My Disney Experience app for Slinky Dog Dash’s current status before building plans around it. Cast Members are unsure when the attraction may reopen.
