New Tower Crane Installation Signals Next Phase of Tron Lightcycle Run Construction at Magic Kingdom

A second tower crane is being installed at the Tron Lightcycle Run construction site, signaling the next phase of the project. With a majority of the work done on the part of the roller coaster that will be indoors, a second tower crane was necessary to construct the exterior portion of the ride due to a lack of reach with the first crane.

We made it out to Magic Kingdom recently to take a look around the construction site as work begins to be focused on the next phase of the Tron Lightcycle Run roller coaster construction.

The crane hasn’t reached full height yet, with at least one more piece staged nearby.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest on the Tron Lightcycle Run roller coaster and much more from around the Disney Parks. To see more about the Tron Lightcycle Run roller coaster, check out our page for the project.
