RUMOR: D23 Hosting a Toy Story Land Preview on June 22nd

According to code found on the D23 website, plans are in place for a D23 preview event of Toy Story Land for June 22nd. The D23 Fanfare page, dated May 24th, shows that plans are either in place or were in place for a D23 preview event of the new land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The information was exposed via the code on the page much like the name for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge leaked the night before the official announcement.

We’re not sure if the plan to host this preview is still current, due to what appears to be a construction pace that has fallen a bit behind schedule. Unlike Pandora – The World of Avatar, there are no announced soft openings or previews of the land yet, and it’s unlikely that we’ll see soft openings for Annual Passholders far in advance like with did with Pandora. According to sources, Disney will be working straight up to the opening date to put the finishing touches on the land, with media previews occurring just a couple of days before the announced opening.

Just like any rumor, this is unofficial information until it is announced by Disney.
