Yesterday we wrote more about the experience in the new Frozen Funland and Trading Post areas in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today we’re going to take a look at some of the merchandise in the Trading Post and some of the cool new technology Disney is using to allow you to take photos with your favorite Frozen characters.
One of the first things I noticed today was that Disney is now using two different lines for Frozen Funland and the Trading Post. This allows guests to do either one as they please. Because the lines were so short today (5 people in front of me) it wasn’t clear if you would be able to go freely between the two once you made it inside. I would assume that on busier days you will have to go back outside to start the line for the other one. Now on to the expensive part!
Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post Merchandise
The store may be small, but there is plenty of Frozen merch for everyone. While shopping keep in mind that Disney will either send the items to your room (if you’re staying on property) or have them at the front of the park ready for you to pick up at the end of the day! This allows you to shop your heart out without having to worry about dropping your Olaf plush on Rock N’ Rollercoaster. Without further ado here is a sampling of the items you can pick up at the Trading Post.
Augmented reality and Frozen
There may not be any meet and greets in Hollywood Studio (you have to go to Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom for that), you can still get pictures with your favorite Frozen characters thanks to the Aurasma app and some Disney magic! Behind the Great Movie Ride and across from the Trading Post are two seemingly simple backdrops. It won’t be until you take a photo will you actually be able to see the magic of augmented reality. The app (and Disney PhotoPass) will put in characters such as Olaf or even Anna and Elsa right next to you as if they’re really there. The technology works great and it makes for some pretty cool photos. Here are a couple examples from Disney:
As you can see, there is plenty of Frozen to go around at Hollywood Studios. Next, we’ll write about the Sing-Along and Royal Welcome events.

Can you please let me know where I can find the Anna Dress in size 11/12. A friend of mine bought one at the Wandering Oaken's Trading Post. She told me she got the last one. I was hoping that you got more in.
