RunDisney reopens spots for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

As part of a one-time, limited availability offering, RunDisney has reopened spots for the half and full marathon for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. Availability is from September 16 at noon – October 24 at 8pm. RunDisney cited a tremendous interest in the event as the reason for reopening entries.

We have been overwhelmed by the tremendous interest for the half and full marathon for the 2015 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, so we’ve decided, as a one-time-only opportunity, to create a small amount of registrations available for purchase for both the half and full marathon. These registrations will be for sale for a limited time only.

Here are some FAQ’s:

I registered for Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge because it was the only way I could register for the half or full marathon. Can I transfer my race and receive a refund?

Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge is not eligible for transfer.

I’m registered for the full marathon but would like to transfer to the half. Am I able to transfer?
You can transfer your race registration for a $35 fee. However, you will only receive a refund for the lesser of the two race registrations.

Will race registrations open up after selling out for every race in the future?
This is a one-time special opportunity in which Goofy wanted to give back to all of our runDisney fans.

Can I still register for Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge?
Yes. Race registrations are still available.

If you haven’t grabbed your spot yet, head on over to the RunDisney page!
