runDisney has released the road closures for the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. Saturday’s 10K on October 24th closes eight roadways around EPCOT between 3:00am and 9:00am. Sunday’s half marathon on October 25th reaches farther, closing or modifying 16 roadways from 3:00am until as late as 10:30am. Nearly every closure lifts by mid-morning, so a little planning keeps race weekend stress-free.

Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend brings three races to Walt Disney World from October 23rd through 25th, each with its own character-themed finisher medal. The 5K on Friday has no road closures listed, though EPCOT opens late at 10am on both Friday and Sunday for race weekend. Runners in the 10K and half marathon use Walt Disney World roadways, and Disney closes them while the courses are active. Saturday and Sunday mornings are the ones to plan around.

Saturday, October 24th: Wine & Dine 10K Road Closures

The 10K starts at 5:00am, and its closures stay close to EPCOT. Eight roadways close on Saturday morning, and most reopen by 7:30am:

  • Backstage Lane at Red Lot Entrance: 3:00am to 8:00am
  • Crush Lot Exit Bridge to EPCOT Center Drive East: 3:30am to 7:30am
  • EPCOT Center Drive West to EPCOT Auto Plaza: 4:15am to 7:30am
  • EPCOT Parking Exit Loops to EPCOT Center Drive East: 3:00am to 7:30am
  • EPCOT Center Drive West (Bonnet Creek to World Drive): 4:15am to 7:30am
  • Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek: 3:00am to 9:00am
  • Woodpecker Lane (Yellow Lot): 3:00am to 9:00am
  • World Drive South Ramp to EPCOT Center Drive East: 3:45am to 7:30am

EPCOT Center Drive is the closure most drivers will notice. Both stretches of EPCOT Center Drive West close from 4:15am to 7:30am, a half hour longer than the 4:15am to 7:00am window for last year’s 10K. Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek and Woodpecker Lane by the Yellow Lot stay closed the longest, until 9:00am.

EPCOT has no late opening on Saturday, and nearly every closure lifts by 7:30am. That should leave the roads around the park open before the morning rush of park guests.

Sunday, October 25th: Wine & Dine Half Marathon Road Closures

The half marathon also starts at 5:00am and covers far more ground. Sunday’s course affects 16 roadways:

  • Backstage Lane North at Red Lot Entrance: 3:00am to 8:00am
  • Buena Vista Drive East (Osceola Parkway to Cypress Drive): 4:00am to 9:30am
  • Buena Vista Drive West Ramp to World Drive South: 4:00am to 9:30am
  • Crush Lot Exit Bridge to EPCOT Center Drive East (modified): 3:30am to 10:00am
  • EPCOT Center Drive West (Vacation Club Way to World Drive): 4:30am to 9:00am
  • EPCOT Center Drive West Ramp to World Drive South: 3:45am to 9:30am
  • Floridian Way South at Bear Island Road Exit Ramp: 3:45am to 9:30am
  • Osceola Parkway West Ramp to Buena Vista Drive East: 4:00am to 9:30am
  • Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek: 3:00am to 10:30am
  • EPCOT Parking Exit Loops to EPCOT Center Drive East: 3:00am to 7:00am
  • Vista Boulevard Ramp to World Drive South: 3:45am to 9:30am
  • Woodpecker Lane (Yellow Lot): 3:00am to 10:30am
  • World Drive North Ramp to Buena Vista Drive: 4:00am to 9:00am
  • World Drive South Ramp to EPCOT Center Drive East: 3:45am to 10:00am
  • World Drive South Flyover Ramp: 3:45am to 9:30am
  • World Drive South to Osceola Parkway: 3:45am to 9:30am

Most of Sunday’s closures lift at 9:30am, including World Drive South, Buena Vista Drive East and Floridian Way South at the Bear Island Road exit ramp. Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek and Woodpecker Lane reopen last, at 10:30am. Disney modifies traffic on the Crush Lot Exit Bridge to EPCOT Center Drive East from 3:30am to 10:00am instead of closing it.

The 10am EPCOT opening on Sunday gives the roads near the park time to clear before regular guests arrive. Guests driving across property before 10:30am should still allow extra time, especially for trips along World Drive or Buena Vista Drive.

Getting to EPCOT on Race Mornings

Complimentary race weekend buses to EPCOT serve Disney Resort hotels, Shades of Green, and the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve. Here are Disney’s bus times for each race morning:

  • Wine & Dine 5K, Friday, October 23: continuous service from 2:30am to 10:00am in both directions
  • Wine & Dine 10K, Saturday, October 24: resorts to EPCOT from 3:00am to 5:00am, EPCOT to resorts from 6:30am to 9:00am
  • Wine & Dine Half Marathon, Sunday, October 25: resorts to EPCOT from 2:30am to 5:00am, EPCOT to resorts from 6:30am to 10:30am

Drivers must park at EPCOT for every race, and parking is free before 7:30am on race mornings. Disney asks 10K and half marathon runners and spectators to reach the EPCOT parking lot by 4:00am. Event parking uses the Crush, Dory, HeiHei, Moana and Wall-E lots. Disney suggests noting your row, since the lots look alike in the dark.

Rideshare drop-off for the 5K and 10K sits next to the HeiHei lot. For the half marathon, rideshare drop-off starts at the EPCOT rideshare loop from 12:00am to 4:00am. From 4:30am to 10:30am it moves to the Charter lot, then returns to the rideshare loop. Minnie Van drivers know the closures and best routes, and Disney says service begins as early as 2:30am.
