Earlier in the year Disney closed the Richard Petty Driving Experience to make room for more parking at the Magic Kingdom. Given the scale of the project, it’s moving along quite quickly, with Disney wanting to open the expanded section for the holiday season.

As you can see in the above photo, the lot has been paved and is close to being ready for guests. Parking lines have already been plotted out and should be painted soon. With light poles on site and waiting to be erected I would think this project can be completed near the beginning of next month.
