A mere 17 months after the Backlot Tour closed, we’re finally seeing the demolition of one of the main sections of the tour, Catastrophe Canyon. Twitter user @rollercoastinRO posted the following picture this afternoon.
Why this matters
This area of Hollywood Studios is part of a huge demolition and re-imagining into Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. The whole of the Streets of America and Lights, Motors, Action will be closing on April 2nd to start the demolition and make way for the new lands.
