Monorail Green and Red to spend the night in the Contemporary for Hurricane Matthew

As seen on a Facebook livestream from a guest staying in the Contemporary, two of the Walt Disney World monorail fleet will be riding out Hurricane Matthew from inside the hotel. Crews started boarding up the opening that allows the monorails to travel through the Contemporary around 10pm tonight.

Monorail Red and Green are currently parked on the beam inside the resort and will spend as much time there as needed to allow Hurricane Matthew to pass safely. Here’s a good look at them from @meyerweb
