The first support beam has been placed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the Disney Skyliner project. The beam is the first in a series of beams to be placed in the park’s parking lot over the coming weeks.

Nearby, multiple support beams and cable mounts are staged, ready for installation.
Here’s a look at the first support beam installed.
Out in the parking lot, there are a few wooden boxes surrounded by concrete barriers. These will be the locations of some of the support beams, as the Disney Skyliner runs above the parked cars and back towards Caribbean Beach Resort.
The Disney Skyliner gondola project is expected to be functional by mid-2019.
