Lotus House – 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

As part of our 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden coverage, we bring you the Outdoor Kitchen review for Lotus House. Located at the China Pavilion, this Outdoor Kitchen features authentic Chinese eats.

Spicy Meatballs – $5.00

with Crispy Tofu

These were…interesting. Nothing really worked with this dish. Fans of tofu might find some enjoyment here, but if you’re already not a fan of tofu, I would steer clear.

Fried Chicken Dumplings

with Peanut Sauce

These were a nice offering. The chicken was present, but the overarching flavor came from the peanut sauce. A fairly standard dish and something that you can no doubt find outside of the festival, so it might earn a pass.

Vegetable Spring Rolls – $4.50

If you find yourself hungry around the China Pavilion, we would recommend the vegetable spring rolls. Falling just outside of our top eats of the festival, the spring rolls represent good execution on a classic item.
