Taste of Marrakesh – 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

As part of our 2018 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival coverage, we bring you the Outdoor Kitchen review for Taste of Marrakesh. Located at the Morocco Pavilion, this Outdoor Kitchen features the exotic flavors of the North African mecca.

Harissa Chicken Kebab – $6.00

with Dried Fruit Couscous Salad

This was a solid kebab with chicken that was cooked perfectly. The couscous salad benefited from the dried fruit. A decent bite if you’re looking for chicken with a kick.

Fried Cauliflower – $5.00

with Capers, Garlic Parsley, and Chili-Ranch Sauce

Cauliflower popped up more than I would have personally liked during the festival, but fans of the vegetable might enjoy this variety. We found that the majority of the offering was just breaded exterior, but the portion size was good.

Walnut-Honey Baklava – $4.00

Better than previous iterations of baklava at Taste of Marrakesh, this came out to be somewhat of a granola taste and consistency. It’s chewy and dry at times, maybe not the best option when it’s 90 degrees out.
