According to permits filed with the state, scene installation is set to begin soon. A Notice of Commencement has been filed for installation of “Scenes 5, 7, and Queue Installation”. The address on the permit is the same as the original permit that we found before the official announcement of the project.
There is no end date on the permit, meaning that all of the work covered in the permit will be completed in less than a year. Disney has announced a “2019” opening date for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, with rumors indicating a summer opening.
