Crews Battle Deadline at Art of Animation Disney Skyliner Station as Final Construction Walls Removed

While the majority of the Disney Skyliner gondola system appears to be running rather smoothly, crews are still working on the Hourglass Lake station. While visiting the resort this afternoon, we noticed that the construction walls have been removed, even though work on the station continues to take place. It looks like crews are working on replacing the fencing and gate that will secure the station when the Disney Skyliner gondola system isn’t running. Here’s a look around the area as of this afternoon.

The Disney Skyliner gondola system will open to guests on September 29th.
