Disney+, the new streaming service from Disney, contains not only a majority of the vast catalog of Disney’s movies, shows, and documentaires, but also brand new original series such as ‘The Imagineering Story’ and ‘The Mandalorian’.
The Imagineering Story is a six-part series that tells the history of Walt Disney Imagineering by combining never before seen behind-the-scenes footage with interviews from Imagineers themselves. The first episode of the series debuted yesterday and viewers won’t have to wait a full week for the debut of the second episode. According to the twitter account for Iwerks & Co., the company producing the series, the second episode of The Imagineering Story will debut this Friday, November 15th. The sneak peek of episode two on Disney+ looks at how Imagineering dealt with the death of Walt Disney and how they would approach the next phase of Disney Parks at both Walt Disney World and beyond.
