REVIEW: Cherry and Pistachio Float With Cold Hot Chocolate at Aloha Isle

|

|

Welcome to a review of the holiday treats at Magic Kingdom! We’ll be running around Magic Kingdom today, trying some of the treats and eats available during the holiday season at the park. Let’s take a look at a treat you can find at Aloha Isle! Everything we review here is available daily, and NOT a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party exclusive.

Cherry and Pistachio Float – $5.99

Cherry and Pistachio flavored soft-serve swirled together and served on top of Cold Hot Chocolate

This is probably the most interesting treat you can get at Magic Kingdom this holiday season. It takes quite the flavor profile to get us away from the delicious Dole Whip (and even more delicious Pineapple Upside Down Cake), but the pistachio might be that good! Perhaps the achilles heel of this dessert is the cherry. Unless you’re a big fan of cherry, the overpowering flavor might be enough to stay away from this treat. That said, the pistachio is absolutely amazing and pairs wonderfully with the Cold Hot Chocolate. Speaking of the Cold Hot Chocolate, it’s a pretty rich chocolate slushie, essentially, that serves as the base of the drink. We’re pretty torn on this offering due to the cherry, but the pistachio and Cold Hot Chocolate might be interesting enough for us to give it a recommendation for your next visit.
