Reimagined Epcot Entrance Now Open With New Planters and Return of Festival Decor

It’s been months in the making, but the reimagined Epcot entrance is now open to guests. As you can see below, gone are the days of the Leave a Legacy monoliths and in their place, Disney has added greenery as an attempt to beautify the arrival experience. Before we jump into the photos, here’s a look at the concept art for what the entire area will look like when it’s completed.

If you’d prefer to get a video tour of the newly opened area, you can check out our quick look around below.

We continue now with a photo tour of the area. We’d imagine that Disney would have preferred a sunny day and foliage fully in bloom, but overcast and bare will have to do.

There aren’t any walls on the east side of the entrance yet, but this would likely be the next step of the process.

As you’ve likely noticed by now, the only construction walls in the area are just around the fountain, which is still a work in progress. You can see the difference in walkway theming pretty well in the photo below, with the newly opened area on the left side.

A decorative concrete ring will eventually form a circle around the fountain.

Of course, here at BlogMickey.com we try to go the extra mile to provide you the best views of the latest work going on at the Disney Parks, so we jumped on the monorail for an elevated view of the area.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to bring you the latest news and photos from around the Disney Parks.
