As part of the limited-time VIPassholder Month, Disney World is now offering an Annual Passholder lounge in the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT. The lounge is open from noon to 8pm, daily, and will be offered through June 18th. Annual Passholders can find the lounge in Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion.
When we visited earlier this afternoon, there was about a 10-minute wait to put our name on the list, and just over a 30-minute wait from there to be called back to go inside. Other reports indicate that the wait time is getting longer this early evening.
To find the lounge, you’ll have to navigate around the ongoing refurbishment of the Morocco Pavilion. Cast Members should be around to help you find the lounge at Restaurant Marrakesh if you can’t find it.
Note that the lounge is only open to Annual Passholders, and guests of Annual Passholders are not allowed inside. Each Passholder must be present and show their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, and a government-issued photo ID to be eligible to enter the Passholder lounge.
There are essentially three main things that Annual Passholders can enjoy (beyond the all-important air conditioning out of the hot summer sun):
- Enjoy complimentary snacks and water
- Charge mobile devices
- Plus, special friends may stop by to say hello!
Complimentary Snacks and Water
When we stopped by, the complimentary snacks were peanuts and Chex Mix. To drink, there was ice cold water and Moroccan mint tea.
Mobile Device Charging
Like with previous Passholder lounge experiences, guests will find a mobile phone charging locker. It’s tucked away in the corner of the room, but Cast Members can help you find it.
Character Meet & Greet
From time to time, Passholders can find a visiting character to meet with. When we visited, Genie was meeting with Passholders!
