First Royal Blue Turret Painted for Cinderella Castle Makeover at Magic Kingdom

Good morning from Magic Kingdom! We’re here bright and early to report on the first turret getting a Royal Blue coat of paint on Cinderella Castle. While we started to see painting take place a couple of days ago, it looked to only be a base layer of sorts applied to the castle. There was no real change in color scheme…until this morning!

As you can see in the photos below, crews are working on painting the first of many turrets a Royal Blue of sorts. In our opinion, it might appear brighter than it should when set against the aging, fading turrets that surround it.

Here’s the concept art that Disney released of what we can expect Cinderella Castle to look like when the project is finished later this summer.
