According to a report from ClickOrlando, Vice President Mike Pence will be visiting Orlando on Wednesday, May 20th to talk with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and tourism industry leaders on how they can reopen the economy.

As you likely know by now, May 20th is also the reopening day for Disney Springs. Disney has outlined the various steps that they’re taking to make the reopening as safe as possible for both guests and Cast Members.

Vice President Pence will first talk with DeSantis and then join a roundtable with hospitality and tourism leaders to discuss their plans for reopening. Walt Disney World has representatives on both the state-level and county-level task forces coming up with guidelines on how to reopen the area theme parks.
