A couple of weeks ago, we brought you a rumor that park hopping would not be allowed with the new Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system. Today, Disney confirmed our story:
At this time, guests will be able to select one park per day; visiting more than one park per day will be temporarily unavailable upon the reopening of the theme parks due to attendance limitations.
Guests with existing tickets that include the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option have options available to them for ticket modifications and cancellations, and can visit DisneyWorld.com/Updates for more information. We hope to bring back the ability to visit more than one park per day soon and will continue to offer these add-ons for 2021 ticket purchases.
If you have a ticket that includes the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option, we have several options available to you:
– Ticket Extension:Â You may use your current date-based ticket by September 26, 2021 with the existing add-on options, should the options return by that date.
– Ticket Modification:Â Resort Packages with tickets may be modified or cancelled. To discuss your options, please call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639 beginning June 22, or contact your travel professional.
– Ticket Cancellation:Â If you do not want to use your ticket, you also have the option of cancelling your ticket or package. To discuss your options, please call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 566-4985 beginning June 22, or contact your travel professional.

how does this affect AP holders. The main ability of an AP is to go whenever you want to as many parks as you want. My AP was extended to May of 2021 equal to the length of the full closure. if I am limited to my access, my AP should continue to be extended until there is no longer restrictions applied
