Disneyland Pauses New Ticket Sales and Annual Pass Renewals

As the Disneyland Resort prepares to reopen, they have announced that they will be pausing new ticket sales, new Annual Pass sales, and Annual Pass renewals.

We saw this move at Walt Disney World earlier this month as Disney works through the backlog of cancelled and rebooked vacations.

Disney has not provided a date that they would resume new ticket sales, but if it’s anything like Walt Disney World, expect them to be paused for some time as Disney deals with existing reservations, existing Annual Passholders, and more.

The pause of new ticket sales, Annual Pass sales, and Annual Pass renewals makes sense as Disney attempts to limit capacity at their theme parks during this phased reopening period. For more on the reopening, check out our earlier post.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com for the latest Disney Parks news and photos. We’ll continue to bring you news and photos, where possible, through the Disney Parks closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will resume our normal coverage once the parks reopen to guests on July 11th!
