Last night, a Splash Mountain boat sank in the Riverboat finale scene, forcing guests to evacuate the ride vehicle.
While Disney was initially silent on the issue, they have since issued a statement to My News 13.
The incident happened toward the end of the ride and involved five visitors. All five visitors were able to get out of the ride vehicle safely.
Disney has not clarified what, exactly, caused the issue that forced guests to jump out of the boat.
