Disney has updated their online calendar to extend the park hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Sunday, September 20th. The park is now listed as closing at 6pm instead of the standard 5pm. Disney recently updated park hours for all four theme parks through the end of November, but this update was made more recently.
If we’re being honest, this seems like it might be an error. That said, it is consistent across the Disney World website and My Disney Experience app. While the weekends are typically more busy than other days of the week, Saturdays are almost always more busy than Sundays.
As far as Disney Park Pass availability is concerned, there is nothing out of the ordinary about the 20th that would suggest that Disney is making this change in an effort to respond to some sort of demand.
