My Disney Experience Push Notification Mirrors Resort-Wide Messaging About Proper Face Covering Usage

Just a bit earlier this evening, we showed you a new sign installed at Magic Kingdom that warned guests that they could be removed from the theme parks if they don’t wear a face covering, and wear it properly.

Now, new messaging in the My Disney Experience app mirrors that language by thanking guests for wearing a face covering, and wearing it properly. As you have likely experienced in your daily life, people, for whatever reason, think that wearing a mask below their nose is effective. It simply isn’t. These same people travel to Disney World, and wearing a mask below the nose is not consistent with the rules and regulations at the theme parks and hotels.

Here’s a look at the push notification from the My Disney Experience app. If guests would like to learn more about the face covering policy, they can click on the Learn More button, which will take them to the face covering rules.
