Face Mask Requirements for Disney World Water Parks

On March 7th, Disney plans to reopen Blizzard Beach water park – one of two water parks at Walt Disney World. With news that tickets are now on sale, Disney has released some updated information about face mask requirements for Disney World water parks. Here’s the currently posted policy:

Face coverings will be required in designated areas for each Guest age 2 and up, including but not limited to the park entrance and exit, retail areas, and food and beverage ordering areas.

Face coverings will not be permitted while experiencing water slides or in the water. You may also remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

In addition to face mask requirements, Disney will implement other COVID-19 safety protocols such as reduced capacity, temperature screenings, and physical distancing markings. At this time a park reservation is not required to visit a water park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change.
