Birds-Eye View of Latest World Celebration Demolition at EPCOT

While we provided an on-the-ground update of the World Celebration demolition taking place at EPCOT just days ago, perpetually airborne friend of the site bioreconstruct recently took flight to provide a birds-eye view of the work taking place.

Here’s a wonderful overview of the scale of the work taking place in the center of EPCOT.

As a reminder, this will eventually be called World Celebration as part of the new “neighborhood” concept coming to EPCOT.

Here are some closer views of the work.

The photo below really illustrates the tale of two projects in the World Celebration neighborhood. The structure on the bottom of the photo is being refurbished into a newly reimagined MouseGear shop and a restaurant. Contrast that with the top of the photo where demolition is taking place to make room for a new Moana-themed experience.

Here’s a closer look at the roof demolition underway on the northwest section of the former Innoventions building.
