Cast Member Training Begins for Tomorrowland PeopleMover Reopening at Magic Kingdom

It seems like we might actually be in the home stretch of a reopening of the Tomorrowland PeopleMover at Magic Kingdom.

While visiting the park today, we spotted Cast Members training for the reopening. As of publish time, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover remains closed and is listed as under refurbishment through the end of February.

While the PeopleMover wasn’t in motion while we visited, we spotted sandbags near the track – a sign that simulated weighted testing is underway.

When it reopens, it’s very likely that guests will have to walk up the ramp to ride the attraction. Physical distancing markers have been in place since Magic Kingdom reopened back in mid-July 2020.

Recently, we saw test riders take a spin around Tomorrowland.
