While visiting EPCOT this morning, not only were we greeted by some new changes in the entrance plaza in front of Spaceship Earth and new work at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we also noticed some changes at the future Moana-attraction demolition site.
The demolition progress on the former Innoventions (north)West is slow and meticulous, but likely because the structure is built on top of some underground tunnels that Disney doesn’t want to damage. It’s probably easiest to show progress using a series of before and after photos, so let’s dive into the latest!
Over near the side closest to The Land pavilion, we can also see some progress.

A lot of people are trying to sugar coat what is going on at WDW. We have been going to WDW since 1973. 40+ trips. We were there in November. EPCOT is no more than a construction site. It was horrible and is worse now. If you enjoy walking through tarp fencing, closed attractions and dining, go for it. Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom are not much better.
