Work has begun on what is perhaps the least publicized aspect of the World Celebration reimagining project at EPCOT – a popcorn stand. Yet to show up in any concept art, the popcorn stand only exists in permits…and in today’s photos of the infrastructure work that is likely taking place to support the new kiosk. As you can see in the photo below, infrastructure work is taking place on the south side of the existing Innoventions East structure, near a temporarily closed playground. A peek over the wall confirms what eye-in-the-sky photographer bioreconstruct seemingly captured on a recent helicopter flight over the park.
