As we approach the halfway point in March, we wanted to provide another update on the Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system, and maybe even peek into April a bit at the end of the article.
Since our last update, March has filled up quite significantly, as predicted. Here’s a look at the current Disney Park Pass availability calendar.
As we can see, the next week is basically a wash. If you don’t already have your Disney Park Pass reservations booked, there is really no point in showing up to Walt Disney World at all next week.
Annual Passholders continue to see some availability open up after this upcoming week, but it’s likely that we’ll see that dry up too as we go through the week.
For an indication of when we’ll be on the other end of this lack of availability we can look at the blockout dates for the Florida Resident ticket. Disney will often structure their ticket blockouts around what they predict will be high traffic times, in the case of the Florida Resident tickets, they have blockout dates of March 26th – April 11th. Not surprisingly, we see availability for that ticket type go green on…April 11th. If you are planning on visiting soon, we’ve advised friends and family to aim for the second part of April.
Here’s a look at when the next available Disney Park Pass is for each park by ticket type:
- Magic Kingdom: April 11th (28 days from now)
- EPCOT: March 21st (7 days from now)
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: April 11th (28 days from now)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: March 27th (15 days from now)
- Magic Kingdom: March 24th (10 days from now)
- EPCOT: March 22nd (8 days from now)
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: March 24th (10 days from now)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: March 22nd (8 days from now)
While we’ll have a more formal look at April as we get closer to the end of this month, it’s definitely worth a look if you’re staying on site.
