Well, it feels like we’ve written this story before. According to Disney’s internal refurbishment calendar, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover will remain closed throughout the month of April, missing what appeared to be a nearly certain April 4th reopening.

As of publish time, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover will remain closed through April 30th, reopening to guests on May 1, 2021.

The Tomorrowland PeopleMover has been plagued with delay after delay after missing a reopening with the rest of Magic Kingdom back in July 2020. Even with encouraging, recent Cast Member testing, it looks like it’ll be weeks before it opens to guests.

According to BlogMickey.com sources, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover is getting quite the upgrade to prevent vehicle slamming like what we saw during testing.
