Women Now Lead All Four Disney World Theme Parks

    With the recent announcement that Kartika Rodriguez will take the helm at EPCOT, all four Walt Disney World theme parks now have female leaders. The announcement comes during a celebration of Women’s History Month.

    Melissa Valiquette – Magic Kingdom Vice President

    Melissa Valiquette took over at Magic Kingdom earlier this year when Jason Kirk moved to Senior Vice President of Resort Operations. Valiquette came from EPCOT where she was the Vice President from July 2015 until her March 2021 move to Magic Kingdom. Valiquette has been with Disney for over 25 years.

    Kartika Rodriguez – EPCOT Vice President

    As we wrote earlier Kartika Rodriguez has assumed the role of Vice President at EPCOT after a vacancy was left by Valiquette’s move to Magic Kingdom. Rodriguez has been with Disney for 15 years.

    Jackie Swisher – Disney’s Hollywood Studios Vice President

    Jackie Swisher replaced Phil Holmes back in July 2020. Prior to that, Swisher served as Vice President of Worldwide Safety Services within the company. Swisher has been with Disney for almost 18 years.

    Sarah Riles – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Vice President

    Sarah Riles takes over for the retiring Djuan Rivers at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Riles previously worked as the Vice President of Optimization & Business Transformation. Riles has been with Disney for over 22 years.
