BREAKING: Disney Skyliner Reportedly Crashes Again at Disney World

UPDATE (8:40pm): The Disney Skyliner gondola system is operating again at Disney’s Hollywood Studios following a crash earlier this evening.

Our original story continues below.

According to video shared on Instagram by nextstopmainstreet, Disney Skyliner vehicles have reportedly crashed again at Walt Disney World. In the screenshots below, you can see an off-axis Disney Skyliner vehicle in the Hollywood Studios station. A caption suggests that two vehicles then collided and glass was shattered.

This incident appears remarkably similar to an incident back in 2019 where vehicles collided and glass shattered.

Doppelmayr, the third-party overseeing the maintenance and operation of the Disney Skyliner, has responded to the scene.

We spotted some shattered glass on the ground, although crews swept up most of it as we were arriving.

This is a breaking news story and BlogMickey.com will continue to update as we learn more.
