New work is underway inside the Theater of the Stars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This work appears to be related to a series of permits that was filed for general construction on some of the theaters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As you can see in our photos below, a high reach lift allowed crews access to the rafters. While we couldn’t see what they were working on specifically, we imagine that there is some general cleaning/repainting taking place.
In addition to the high reach lifts, scaffolding could be seen.
Here’s a look back at the theater. It remains closed at this time and there are no announced plans to bring back the Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage show.
