Turkey! PeopleMover Evacuated for Third Consecutive Day at Magic Kingdom

In bowling it’s known as a turkey when you throw three strikes in a row. In the theme park world, a turkey could be three strikeouts in a row – which is exactly what happened with the Tomorrowland PeopleMover this week at Magic Kingdom. Today marks the third day in a row that the Tomorrowland PeopleMover has broken down and required a guest evacuation.

In all seriousness, the Tomorrowland PeopleMover clearly faces continued issues despite more than a year of downtime for refurbishment. The attraction is not reliable and we hope that Disney is able to fix it. Guests are sitting for nearly an hour in vehicles before they can be evacuated and that is a less than magical way to spend your vacation.

    1. It is three strikes in a row. Strike out is in baseball. You could have said three strikes and you’re out!

    2. We love the people mover! Stop writing like it’s the end of the world! Machines can break down from time to time. People Mover is a big part of DisneyWorld tradition in the Magic Kingdom! It’s a very important ride.
They’ll fix it. Be patient .
