As Tropical Storm Elsa prepares to make a likely landfall along the west coast of Florida, the impacts of the storm will begin to be felt Tuesday and Wednesday in the Central Florida area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Orange County Florida that went into effect earlier today and will continue through Wednesday evening. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches with isolated amounts up to 6 inches will be possible today, tonight and Wednesday associated with Tropical Storm Elsa.

Walt Disney World has not announced any operational changes to their theme parks, but will close outdoor attractions should lightning enter the surrounding area. Guests visiting Walt Disney World today and tomorrow should prepare for unseasonal rain weather patterns associated the storm – including heavy rain throughout the day.
