Just like the menu changes that occurred days before Casey’s Corner reopened at Magic Kingdom, we’re seeing some changes taking place to the menu of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto ahead of a rumored reopening.

First, here’s a look at the old menu.

And here’s a look at the new menu, with name changes to remove negative cultural depictions associated with the removed Trader Sam animatronic in the Jungle Cruise attraction. Here are the changes:

  • Headhunter Sushi Roll renamed to Kahuna Tuna Sushi Roll
  • Shrunken Zombie Head renamed to Zombie

It is rumored that Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto will reopen with the rest of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on July 19th, but Disney has not announced an official reopening date yet.
