Universal Orlando Will Encourage, Not Require, Guests to Wear Face Masks Indoors

According to an update from Universal Orlando, they will “encourage all our guests to follow CDC guidelines and local directives to wear face coverings while indoors”. The Disney World competitor fell short of implementing a mask mandate indoors for guests. This policy stands at odds with messaging from Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.

Starting tomorrow, Walt Disney World will require all guests wear face masks while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Minutes ago, Disney World sent out new messaging out to guests to notify them of the change in policy.

    1. No mask requirement–this is great news! I guess this means I won’t be canceling my upcoming Universal trip. 😀
