Face Masks to Become Optional for Fully Vaccinated Disney World Cast Members in Backstage Areas Beginning November 8th

According to BlogMickey.com sources, face masks will no longer be mandatory for fully vaccinated Cast Members in backstage areas indoors beginning November 8th. Cast Members will still be required to wear face masks indoors when they are considered “on stage” – in guest-facing roles.

The change in Cast Member policy will likely precede changes for guests, which could be announced this month. Disney World previously had a policy in place earlier this summer that allowed fully vaccinated guests to not wear a face mask in indoor locations.

As of publish time, no changes have been announced for guests.
