Well, it looks like Disney Movie Magic and Wonderful World of Animation will live to fight another day as both shows played tonight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you may remember, both shows were removed from all entertainment and park hour schedules and calendars, indicating that they wouldn’t be performed.
As we arrived this evening to check in on the status of the shows, Guest Relations Cast Members informed us that both shows were suspended indefinitely. As we made our way to the Center Stage area in front of the Chinese Theater, we saw Cast Members setting up tape walkways. Of course, if the shows were cancelled, the tape walkways wouldn’t be necessary. When we talked with the Cast Members, they said that both shows would take place as normal.
Indeed, 8:40pm rolled around and Disney Movie Magic was performed, followed by the Wonderful World of Animation show at 9pm. To watch both shows, check out our videos below!
