Pressure Washing, Mechanical Work Underway for Splash Mountain Refurbishment at Magic Kingdom

Crews are hard at work for the annual Splash Mountain refurbishment at Magic Kingdom. We made our way out to the park this morning to take a look at the current progress. Right now, it looks like work is mostly limited to some pressure washing on the left side of the mountain and mechanical work at the bottom of the iconic drop. There is also some work taking place near the hold section short of the finale scene, but we weren’t able to get photos of that work. Here’s a look around!

Splash Mountain is currently scheduled to reopen February 10, 2022.
