According to a press release from the Orlando International Airport (MCO), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) named MCO the busiest airport in the nation this past Saturday with 78,287 passengers. On Sunday, MCO was the 4th busiest airport with more than 74,000 departures. Those two days make this past weekend the busiest weekend at MCO in the COVID-19 era.
The all-time single-day record for MCO was set on March 16, 2019, with 90,804 travelers.
At Walt Disney World, this Spring Break is expected to be very busy, and Disney has already issued a reminder for guests to make their free (but required) Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible.
